How does oil work?
Oil is obtained from mines then burnt with oxygen to get heat energy. The heat is used to power homes and so we can use it all the time and it is reliable.
Are there different types or uses of this source?
We have the very light oil which are things like jet fuel, gasoline, and petroleum. We have the light oils which consist of fuel oils and diesel fuel oils. There is crude oil which is a medium oil. Lastly we have the heavy oils which are the ones typically in oil spills; heavy marine oils.
What counties use oil? What percentage is used in U.S.?
All counties use oil in there lives, we use oil for many reasons, but most commonly powering our cars. The U.S. uses around 37% of Petroleum oil.
